A Mother's Perfect Day

My husband asked me today what I want to do for Mother's Day. And I don't really know! I never get to be the one voice to decide what we do for family time (there's usually two little kids piping up with their "suggestions" when we are discussing plans). If the weather is nice, I think it would be fun to pull out the stroller and go letterboxing and exploring at Lake Washington and the Arboretum.

And then come home to a magically cleaned house, with all the laundry folded, the fridge and cupboards full of groceries, the windows sparkling clean and fresh flowers planted in the front yard.

Ha. I'll be lucky if I get to sleep in past 7am on Sunday. :)
