The Pigeon wants a...

We love Mo Willems and all his books, but especially his Pigeon books. "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" was our first book, then we got "Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late" and "The Pigeon Wants a Hotdog". It's nice when you actually LIKE the books that the kids want you to read the same books over and over again. Makes it much easier.

Anyways, there's been a contest to guess what the title of the new Pigeon book will be, and the winner was announced today on Pigeon's website (yes, he even has his own website, and it's pretty cute.) I won't give it away, in case you already knew about it and want to be surprised.

Sadly, the kids didn't win, but their guess was pretty good- SharkBoy thought the pigeon wanted a Birthday Party, and SweetPea thought he wanted a cookie.

The title of the book was announced today, and it's available at the stores starting tomorrow.

PS- when you go check out the pigeon's website , be sure to play the hotdog game. It keeps my kids busy and laughing hysterically for hours.
