have some food for thought...

In our house we try to reduce waste as best we can, we shop with a menu in mind, buy produce in smaller quantities so that we use it before it goes bad. What can you change to produce less food waste in your home?

always take your lettuce, leafy greens our of the bag from the store. (wash them as you need them) and store them in a big ziplock with a paper towel. this soaks up any moisture and keeps it twice as long.
